Frequently asked questions
How to remove eyelash extensions
If after 6 weeks, you decide that you'd rather go back to your natural lashes instead of getting a full set of infills then you can easily remove them by using steam, hot water and an oil-based makeup remover. This will break down the glue and will allow for the lashes to be removed easily and painlessly.
How long do eyelash extensions take?
It will take our lash specialists around 2 hours to apply a full set of extensions. It requires a steady hand and a lot of concentration to correctly apply the extension lashes on to your natural ones.
You'll spend the treatment time with your eyes closed -- a great opportunity to catch a few z's if you feel so inclined! Snoring is optional.
How to clean eyelash extensions
To keep your lashes looking their very best, we'd recommend micellar water or a good foaming cleanser. Just remember to wait at least a few days to allow for the glue to properly dry and don't be too heavy handed when you do clean them.
Can you put mascara on eyelash extensions?
Technically, yes but you really won't need to. If you have classic lashes the mascara will take better, but it's a definite no no with Russians unless you want clumping and tangling -- ouch!
Our lashes look amazing as they are, so mascara will be unnecessary.
Can you wear eyeliner with eyelash extensions?
Eyeliner is a different story. You can definitely wear it with your lash extensions but you'll have to be careful when putting it on -- its going to be harder to find your eyelids amongst all of that enviable volume!
Avoid using oil-based eyeliner as the oil can break down the glue on your lashes. You can safely use liquid-based eyeliners and shadow-based ones are ok too.
