Jaw filler aftercare
All types of dermal filler require similar aftercare. All procedures require some sort of aftercare to prevent infections or complications. Our professional therapists are here to provide you with the best advice possible for jawline filler aftercare. We can provide the aftercare that is relevant straight after the procedure.
Swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising are expected after the procedure of jawline fillers. This should pass in a couple of hours or by the next day. All of these side effects should have worn entirely off within two weeks. If they have not, contact us and your GP. After the process, you should avoid touching the area as it will be extremely sensitive, and you do not want to cause any unnecessary complications.
A cold compress can help reduce swelling and any pain that you have. It is advised that you stay away from any heat sources during the healing process, such as saunas, as it can increase swelling of the area. Do not exert yourself in any highly intense exercise, as this can also increase swelling.
