The foundation lip dermal filler course is aimed at medics and non-medics already in the beauty industry looking to further their learning and service range, as well as those with no prior experience.

How much does the lip foundation dermal filler course cost?

The total cost of the course is £1799. This gets you CPD certificates for every aspect of the course including a level 3 physiology qualification and the same for anatomy. Once you have successfully completed the course, we offer continued support to all of our previous students and are only ever at the end of the phone.

How long is the course?

The course is completed over 2 days. This includes all necessary theory as well as practical training. More information on the breakdown of the course can be found below.

The training course runs from 10am to 4pm across 2 days.

Where is the lip dermal fillers course held/ is there any online learning?

The course will take place in our salon in Leigh On Sea, Essex. This is a working salon so you will see first-hand how to perform the treatments correctly as well as how the lip filler solution should be stored.

A lot of other courses have an online learning element, and whilst some of the modules will be completed digitally, this is a hands-on course where you will gain practical and invaluable experience.

What are the entry requirements?

No prior experience is needed to attend and complete the course, it is open to medics and non medics, those already in the aesthetic industry and even those looking to embark on a new career entirely. However, in order to gain insurance you will need to have completed a microblading course, an SPMU course or have a level 3 in beauty.

Which qualification/accreditations are gained at the end of the course?

For every module you complete, you will receive a CPD certificate. This includes anatomy, physiology and health and safety.

What is CPD?

CPD or Continuing Professional Development is a proactive endeavour to increase your knowledge and expertise in any chosen trade through seminars, workshops or training.

The CPD certification service means that the student has been trained and acquired skills that have been certified as "CPD Accredited". It's a way of validating and moderating training courses to ensure that good quality courses are being provided throughout, and also gives customers peace of mind surrounding the legitimacy of someone's credentials.

How can I pay? Do I need to make a deposit?

Before we can reserve you a spot on our course, a non-refundable £300 deposit is required.

The outstanding balance is then paid on the day.

There's a lot to learn over the two days but we always encourage our students to go at their own pace. Our trainers are friendly and happy to repeat steps and information where needed. What you will learn during the practical training

Health and safety (first aid, allergic reactions etc)

All of the essential health and sanitation considerations that are relevant to needle fillers will be taught in the first module. This is a crucial element of the training where we cover aspects such as allergic reactions, proper needle care and sterilisation.

Anatomy / Physiology of the face

Before you can start injecting someone's face and lips, you'll need to know all about the anatomy and physiology of it. This gives you a broader understanding of why the injections are administered where they are and allows you to give your clients the very best results.

Theory of Hyaluronic acid

A common ingredient in needle fillers, hyaluronic acid is partly responsible for the added volume that is added to the lips after the treatment. In this part of the course, you will learn more about how it works and how it should be handled.

Numbing

An anaesthetic is often used to numb the area before the injections. Here you will learn how to use this safely and properly.

Technique - (Russian technique)

By far, the most popular lip filler technique is the Russian method. In this module, we teach our students how to perform it expertly.

How to conduct the first consultation

Putting your customers at ease by being friendly and comforting whilst also finding out all of the essential safety information is the key to a successful lip filler treatment. We teach you the best manner to adopt and all of the important things to check before you start.
