Lip filler courses Essex

Dermal lip fillers are a very popular solution for when you feel your lips are flat, shapeless and smaller than you'd like. Here at Moon Aesthetics, dermal lip fillers are one of our most frequently performed procedures and we never tire of seeing our customer's delight after they have had their lips enhanced by us.

Of course, to perform the lip dermal filler treatment safely and professionally, training is required. Before you can become a professional aesthetic practitioner who is accredited and qualified to administer lip dermal fillers you will need to complete an intensive training course which educates you on how to perform the different styles of lip filler without causing injury, discomfort or adverse reactions in your clients.

And in this endeavour, we can support you.

Foundation dermal filler course schedule

The training course runs from 10am to 4pm across 2 days.

Where is the lip dermal fillers course held/ is there any online learning?

The course will take place in our salon in Leigh On Sea, Essex. This is a working salon so you will see first-hand how to perform the treatments correctly as well as how the lip filler solution should be stored.

A lot of other courses have an online learning element, and whilst some of the modules will be completed digitally, this is a hands-on course where you will gain practical and invaluable experience.

When is the course date?

Courses run throughout the year, to find out when we are next running a course feel free to give us a call, drop us an email or message us on Whatsapp.

What are the entry requirements?

No prior experience is needed to attend and complete the course, it is open to medics and non medics, those already in the aesthetic industry and even those looking to embark on a new career entirely. However, in order to gain insurance you will need to have completed a microblading course, an SPMU course or have a level 3 in beauty.

We know that beauty insurance is a subject that feels unnecessarily complicated at times and no one wants to get it wrong, so if you have any questions, feel free to get in touch; we're always more than happy to help.

Which qualification/accreditations are gained at the end of the course?

For every module you complete, you will receive a CPD certificate. This includes anatomy, physiology and health and safety.

What is CPD?

CPD or Continuing Professional Development is a proactive endeavour to increase your knowledge and expertise in any chosen trade through seminars, workshops or training.

The CPD certification service means that the student has been trained and acquired skills that have been certified as "CPD Accredited". It's a way of validating and moderating training courses to ensure that good quality courses are being provided throughout, and also gives customers peace of mind surrounding the legitimacy of someone's credentials.

How can I pay? Do I need to make a deposit?

Before we can reserve you a spot on our course, a non-refundable £300 deposit is required.

The outstanding balance is then paid on the day.

If you're looking to spread the cost, we have Klarna payment services available for these courses too.

Moon Aesthetics training academy objectives

There's a lot to learn over the two days but we always encourage our students to go at their own pace. Our trainers are friendly and happy to repeat steps and information where needed. We guarantee that you'll come away feeling confident and comfortable in carrying out the treatment to the same high standard that we do.

What you will learn during the practical training

Health and safety (first aid, allergic reactions etc)

All of the essential health and sanitation considerations that are relevant to needle fillers will be taught in the first module. This is a crucial element of the training where we cover aspects such as allergic reactions, proper needle care and sterilisation.

Anatomy / Physiology of the face

Before you can start injecting someone's face and lips, you'll need to know all about the anatomy and physiology of it. This gives you a broader understanding of why the injections are administered where they are and allows you to give your clients the very best results.

Theory of Hyaluronic acid

A common ingredient in needle fillers, hyaluronic acid is partly responsible for the added volume that is added to the lips after the treatment. In this part of the course, you will learn more about how it works and how it should be handled.

Numbing

An anaesthetic is often used to numb the area before the injections. Here you will learn how to use this safely and properly.

Technique - (Russian technique)

By far, the most popular lip filler technique is the Russian method. In this module, we teach our students how to perform it expertly.

How to conduct the first consultation

Putting your customers at ease by being friendly and comforting whilst also finding out all of the essential safety information is the key to a successful lip filler treatment. We teach you the best manner to adopt and all of the important things to check before you start.

Potential earnings

Once you're equipped with your new skill, you can expect to attract new clients and earn much more from your beauty services. Having provided this service for years, we can confidently advise you on how much you can charge.

Practical

A practical assessment is usually conducted on the final day of the course. This gives you a valuable opportunity to perform the treatment on one of our live models under our supervision.

Aftercare

Aftercare may be the final module and step in the process, but that doesn't mean it can be overlooked. Clients can experience tenderness after the treatment and will doubtlessly have a few questions for you, so it's always best to be fully informed to put them at ease.
